Held the 4th regular general meeting(Sun Gallery), Elect Sang-eun Gwon(Chosun Gallery) as the 3rd chairman, Reshuffled the board of directors and revised the articles of the association partially(14th of February)/ Opened the executive office(Gwanhun-dong, jongno-gu, March)/ Sponsored the fundraising exhibition for building the National Museum of Contemporary Art jointly with the (26th of September)/ Held the 3rd Seoul Art Fair(3rd of December)

협회 창립 이후 회원의 변동과 조직의 미비로 협회활동이 저조함에, 임원회의는 새 체제의 화랑협회 결성을 결의함(12월 5일)/ 한국화랑협회 제2차 창립총회가 현대화랑에서 개최되고 회장에 박주환(동산방화랑)을 추대하고 동시에 김문호를 명예 초대회장으로 추대함(12월 18일)
The board of directors decided to organize a new galleries association because of changes in members and slackened activities of the association since the establishment(5th of December)/ The second inaugural meeting of the Galleries Association of Korea was held in Hyundai Gallery, where Ju-Hwan Park(Dongsanbang Gallery) was appointed as the chairman, and Mun-ho kim as the honorary chairman(18th of December)

화랑경영자 상호간의 친목과 공동의 이해를 증진하여 건전한 미술시장 형성을 위해서 동산방, 명동, 양지, 조선, 현대 5개 화랑대표가 모임(5월)/ 서울시내의 12개 화랑이 조선호텔에서 한국화랑협회 창립총회를 개최하여 회장에 김문호(명동화랑)를, 이사에 박주환, 문선호, 권상능, 박명자, 감사에 유택환을 선출하고 정관을 제정함(12월 27일)
The representative of five galleries, Dongsanbang, Myeongdong, Yangji, Chosun and Hyundai had a meeting aiming at the promotion of mutual friendship and understanding among galleries and the establishment of a sound fine arts market (May)/ 12 galleries in Seoul held the inaugural meeting of the Galleries Association of Korea at Chosun Hotel, Where Mun-ho Kim(Myeongdong Gallery) was appointed as the chairman, Ju-hwan Park, Seon-ho Mun, Sang-neung Gwon and Myeong-ja Park as director, and Tak-hwan Yoo as the auditor, and the articles of the association was established(27th of December)
